Thanks for your comment! Can't wait t...Andie! Thanks for your comment! Can't wait to see the pier mirror! Your words about researching hair styles inspired me to look up two past "Rolling Crone" posts about hair that may interest you. One is "Older Women & Long Hair in the Olden Days" (Dec. 27, 2010) and "Tots with Antique Toys-Boy or Girl?" from May 18, 2012. If you go to "A Rolling Crone", on the right, under the title "The Story Behind the Photo" I've added those two posts, so you can just click on them.by Joan Gagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10504224017690336384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488052677647528167.post-15483321475521362092014-01-20T19:31:03.092-05:002014-01-20T19:31:03.092-05:00I am so glad I found you!
I was researching women...I am so glad I found you!
I was researching women's hairstyles from the 1850's to the 1860's.
I recently bought a giant pier mirror that is adorned with what looks to be symbols of mourning and includes two large cameos. I think one is a young girl and the other is her mother.
I have never seen anything like it.
I will photograph it tomorrow, in the light of day and place photos on my blog.
Glad to meet you!

AndieDivine Theatrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02553420826262806110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488052677647528167.post-4185130539720298912013-01-03T00:50:45.821-05:002013-01-03T00:50:45.821-05:00What a great detective tale, thanks for posting! What a great detective tale, thanks for posting! The Sanity Inspectorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04808433661634318393noreply@blogger.com
